Kolkata: There is a buzz in Kolkata as the biggest festival of the year approaches. The West Bengal government has introduced a special bus to satisfy your desire for shopping in order to facilitate the shopping spree that the festivities call for.
In Kolkata’s commercial district, a special bus was announced by West Bengal’s transportation department. Snehasish Chakraborty, the minister of transport, said the buses would run from September 4 through September 25, and they would also run on weekends and on public holidays.

Interestingly, these special shopping buses will be parked in areas where people can utilise the service as a hop-on-hop-off in retail areas. The Bengal Transport Department’s sources claim that there won’t be any additional fees for individuals who use the service. Additionally, during Durga Pujo, extra buses similar to this would be used.
