RKM president in hospital – Times of India

Kolkata News

Kolkata: Ramakrishna Mission president Swami Swaranandaji Maharaj was admitted to a private hospital on Wednesday morning after the 92-year-old monk developed a breathing distress. According to sources at the Peerless Hospital, where he was admitted, Swaranandaji has a respiratory infection but remains stable. He is on medicines but needs no oxygen support, said the hospital. He tested negative for Covid.
“Despite his lung infection, Swarananadaji’s oxygen saturation level and other parameters remain normal. He is being treated in a non-critical care ward and is conscious. We are keeping a constant vigil since he is aged and may develop complications,” said Peerless Hospital CEO Sudipta Mitra.
