Calcutta University has released the UG admission notification for the 2020-21 academic year. According to the notification released on the official website, the applications for UG Admissions will be available on the official website from August 10, 2020. Candidates who wish to apply for the BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Mus, BBA programmes can visit the official website of Calcutta University from August 10 onwards to complete the application process.
According to the schedule provided on the official website, the merit list will be published on the official website on August 28, 2020. The admission process is scheduled to commence from September 1, 2020, and the last date for Admissions is September 25, 2020.

According to the notification, the complete admission process for the UG admissions to Calcutta University will be conducted in the online mode due to the COVID-19 lockdown. The notification also states that the colleges affiliated to the university are required to keep the student strength for each subject within the intake capacity sanctioned by the university and follow all the reservation policy of the Government.
The students applying for the admissions to the undergraduate courses must make sure that they read through the eligibility criteria mentioned for each of the programmes before moving on to filling the online applications. Candidates applying for the UG programmes must have qualified the Class 12 qualification examinations with minimum marks as prescribed for each curse in order to apply.
