Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to leave for Delhi after attending the Eastern Zonal Council meeting in Kolkata on Saturday.
By Anupam Mishra: Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be arriving in Kolkata on Friday night to attend the Eastern Zonal Council meeting scheduled to be held at the State Secretariat Nabanna in Howrah on Saturday.
Shah is scheduled to arrive in the city around 9.20pm and is likely to go to the party headquarters in Kolkata. Meanwhile, state BJP leaders have started preparations at the BJP headquarters for Amit Shah’s visit.

Amit Shah is scheduled to attend the Eastern Zonal Council meeting at Nabanna around 11am on Saturday. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will be present at the meeting along with other eastern zonal council state chief ministers.
Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to leave for Delhi after the meeting on Saturday.
Meanwhile, special organisational meeting of BJP also started in Hooghly district from Friday where party functionary B L Santosh will be discussing organisational issues with state leaders.
