As CM Mamata Banerjee said on Thursday that the Omicron virus would weaken once the general people adopt safety measures. Kolkata Police, it seems, thinks in the same line and doing everything to make the general people aware of the importance of wearing masks and also about the growing number of cycler crimes. The latest addition to this is a series of memes on the Kolkata Police social media pages.
Several of these mems have been circulated thousands of times and gone viral on social media. The famous ones are from the recently Telugu film Pushpa. In one such meme, Allu Arjun is seen saying “Pushpa naam sunke Fool samjha hey kiya”, after an unknown caller asked him about bank details.

In another meme, KP has used stills from the 2009 film 3 idiots with a caption that says “When Virus is smart, the protection has to be state of the art”. In the past also, the KP has used memes to create awareness on various social issues including the importance of maintaining traffic rules.
