Mini bus topples in West Bengal’s Kolkata, 10 passengers injured – India Today

At least 10 passengers sustained injuries after a mini bus carrying 40 passengers turned turtle at Doria crossing in Kolkata on Sunday afternoon at around 2 pm.

Eyewitnesses to the accident said the speeding bus turned around at the juncture on SN Banerjee road and Jawaharlal Neheru road and toppled over.

The bus was heading towards Howrah from Park circus area. The passengers were going to Howrah to attend a family function.

Several passengers were reported to be trapped. The glass windows on the bus were broken to rescue the passengers. The injured have been taken to SSKM hospital.

Police rushed to the accident site and initiated a probe to ascertain the cause of the accident.
