Fire breaks out at hospital in Kolkata – India Today

A fire has broken out at a government hospital in Kolkata. So far, no injuries have been reported.

By India Today Web Desk: A fire broke out on the second floor of a hospital building in Kolkata on Thursday. Nine fire tenders have been rushed to contain the blaze at the SSKM hospital.

No patient is believed to be trapped, and so far no injuries have been reported.

The fire started at around 10 pm on the second floor of the government hospital. It spread from CT scan room to X-ray room in a matter of minutes. Police suspect one scanning machine might be the cause of the fire.
