Kolkata: Man jumps off office building, dies – Times of India

KOLKATA: A 45-year-old man reportedly died after jumping off the Jeevan Sudha building on JL Nehru Road on Tuesday.
The victim, Utpal Roy, a resident of Purba Putiary under Regent Park police station, was taken to SSKM Hospital, where he was declared dead.
“A suicide note has been recovered. We came to know that the victim had sent a WhatsApp text to his wife before killing himself. He had been grappling with financial crisis,” said an officer. Cops said the victim’s family members had been asked about his financial constraints. However, cops have not revealed his profession or the place of the building, from where he had jumped.
