The Park Circus-Gariahat route auto stand is being shifted from the crossing towards Ekdalia Road. They will be asked to come up to the ITI and then take a compulsory left turn. Buses of routes 80B, 234, 37A, 13C/1 and AC5 will take a right turn at Deshapriya Park crossing and will take Sarat Bose Road-Southern Avenue-Golpark and vice versa in order to avoid Gariahat crossing. Kasba-bound minibuses and those heading towards Ekdalia will take Swinhoe Street-Cornfield Road-R B Avenue-Bijon Setu,” said an officer.
The police said that while granting HRBC the permission, they have asked that adequate signs be installed by the executing agency.
“Proper illumination and safety measures should be implemented at the work site to avoid any untoward incident during execution of the work from your end.
