KOLKATA: The detective department and Haridevpur police arrested two more persons — Jiten Lama alias Bittu (19) and Debraj Roy (20) — for murder of tea company employee Sidhartha Bhattacharya (43) at his Haridevpur residence on Tuesday night.
Main accused, Kundan Kumar (20) spilled their names during interrogation in Aurangabad, Bihar. “ All three had come to the victim’s residence for a party where an argument over insufficient and inferior food quality and drinks let to the murder, committed using an idol. The accused claimed they were highly intoxicated,” said DC (Behala) Swati Bhangalia.
However, cops are yet to rule out possibility of murder over Rs 30,000 that the victim had lent to the accused.
